Agusta Westland社の2005年6月16日付のニュースによると
警察庁は更に３機のA109E Powerをオーダー。３機の配備先はそれぞれ、三重、兵庫、東京の予定という。

同ニュースには納入日は記載されていないが、これは今年（2005年）4月7日の「小型双発ヘリコプター３機の一般競争入札」の公示を受けてのものであり、その納入期限である2006年3月末日までに納入されると思われる。

　A109E Powerの警察機は既に日本では新潟、福島、広島で３機が活躍しており、2006年４月以降は合計６機のA109E Powerの警察機が日本の空を舞うことになる。
